Introduction
This one-day course is aimed at developing an understanding into the basic design theory as well as demonstrating the application thereof with suitable design examples on each section.
The course would be suitable for young engineers and technologist as well as experienced engineers who feel the need to get back to grips with the basics of reinforced concrete design.
Course Background
The course will be presented by Gregg Parrott who is an associate Director and Head of the Department of Civil Engineering at the Durban University of Technology and has
over eighteen years teaching experience in Reinforced Concrete Design. He has also successfully presented similar courses to this one at a number of centres around
the country over these years.

Cost
The cost of the course is R2500,00 per delegate for SAICE and CSSA Members and R3500,00 per delegate for Non-SAICE Members, which includes a copy of the book ‘Reinforced Concrete Design to SANS 10100-1 (revised 2008 edition) as well as handouts, lunch and teas.
